How I Think

A point of view, one line at a time.

Playbooks

The frameworks I actually use.

Open any playbook for the steps. These are working outlines and they grow over time.

How I Decide

The process behind the call.

Six beliefs that show up in every product decision I make. Written down so my team can hold me to them.

Default to evidence over opinion.

The best product decisions come from customer behaviour, not the loudest stakeholder.

Optimise for long-term trust.

In financial products, short-term growth should never undermine customer confidence.

Every roadmap is a strategy document.

Prioritisation is about making trade-offs explicit, not collecting feature requests.

Say the hard thing first.

Executive time is spent best on the decision, not the setup around it.

Ship the smallest test that could prove me wrong.

Certainty is expensive. Disproof is cheap. I invest in the second.

Engineering is a partner, not a vendor.

Shared context beats specifications passed over a wall, every time.

Product Principles

What I believe about building products.

The best products make difficult decisions feel simple.

Great products are built one decision at a time.
